PreSchool Night

Last week the kids participated in the annual Preschool Night at Church. This year was "A Buggy Good Time" and the kids played buggy games, made buggy crafts, ate buggy snacks, and even came home with a bag of fake yucky bugs!! They had a great time.
 The bugs!
Emory and a few of her friends. The spider web in the back was a huge hit!
 Cason and Hannah catching butterflies!

Cason's New Gloves

While we were in Bastrop for Mckenzie's birthday Cason got a new pair of work gloves. He is super proud of them and has worn them just about every day to work outside.
As soon as got home from Bastrop Cason put on his work clothes and new gloves and went outside to load and unload firewood (he is all about loading firewood these day!)

Mckenzie's Birthday Party

Last Friday we headed south to Bastrop for Mckenzie's 5th birthday!
She had a My Little Pony Water Fun Filled party on Saturday and the kids had a blast!
 My silly little girl
The birthday girl blowing out her ice cream candle on her actual birthday (Friday).
Posing with one of her new ponies.
Opening presents. I managed to get one picture before my camera died.
 Water slide Fun!!
 The birthday cake!
Cason took a break from sliding and decided to play with the tractors. He lined them all up which I thought was funny.
 Lincoln and Aunt Rachel sliding.
An action shot of the girls!
Lincoln was cracking me up. He would fill the bucket with water and then walk over and have someone poor the water on him.
He loved it! I lost count of how many times he did this.
We had a fun time visiting and celebrating Mckenzie's birthday. I think it is save to say that all the kids had a blast!

Cason Bradley

Cason is my little comedian. He is hilarious and constantly has us laughing with one of his silly antics or ideas! Speaking of ideas, Cason is always coming up with them. When he has one he says, "Hey, I got great idea" and then goes into his great idea! Some of his other sayings include: I'm coming on the double, That's terrible (when he does not like something), Daddy JASON Cobb when Daddy is in "trouble," and STOP in the name of the law when he wants someone or something to stop. Some recent happenings include his falling off the bar stool a month ago and injuring his front tooth which is now gray. The dentist said it suffered trauma when he fell so now we are waiting to see if it falls out or stays gray. I think he is rooting for it to fall out so he can have a hole in his mouth like Emory. He told me the other day that holes in your mouth were cool!
Cason posing with the biggest strawberry he has ever seen! He loves strawberries and has been known to eat an entire carton in two days! He still LOVES John Deere anything and knows his heavy equipment better then me. The other day he was wanting to cut down a tree with a fellerbuncher instead of a chainsaw. He is very creative and we never know what he is going to come up with next. Cason is also a very hard worker and is usually outside working on something. He is currently building a house down at the barn. It started out as a house for Petals the cat but last I heard he was building the house for himself. He even had Bradley cutting boards for his house last weekend. It is still in the planning stages but according to Cason it is going to be big! Cason has enjoyed the dirt mans (as he calls them) the past few months and even got to ride in their great big tractor! His Daddy did too, he even got to drive it.....not sure who was more excited. (Emory did as well for those that are wondering ). Another one of his favorite words is lovely. Cason thanks God everyday for the lovely day we have had and sometimes for the lovely food! He may be a big tough farmer cowboy but most nights he still asks to be rocked in the rocking chair before bed.
