13 Months Old

Eli Grant you are 13 months old!

You are such a happy little guy and are always smiling! You love to play, talk on the phone, play peek a boo and get your way!

You are wearing 12 and 18 month old clothes, a size 5 diaper, and size 3 shoe. You now have 12 teeth! You can show me where your toes are when I ask and we are working on learning your nose and ears.

You love to cheer and clap. Here you are cheering on your sister at soccer practice.

You sleep just like Cason, all over the bed! You take one nap a day, which is usually in the morning.

You love to ride and climb your cars and cow! You are constantly on the move.

You have the sweetest little laugh and get the giggles all the time, especially when being tickled!! Your laugh makes everyone smile!

Easter 2017

I was only able to get one picture of the kids Easter Sunday, which was a quick attempt outside after church. After church we went over to Mimi and Pawpaw's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt!

Church Easter Egg Hunt 2017

The Sunday before Easter our church had its annual Easter egg hunt.

Cason lost a tooth

Last night Cason lost his first tooth! After a few tears were shed he was pretty excited to put it under his pillow and woke up to $2.00 this morning.

6 & 1 Year Check-ups

Yesterday Cason and Eli had their check-ups!

Eli weighed 24.4 lbs (88%) and is 30 3/4 inches tall (81%). He is a big boy! He had to get 3 shots, but didn't cry except for a few shrills to let us know he did not like being held down! Cason weighed 41 lbs (20%) and is 44 inches tall (23%). He grew 2 inches and gained 4 pounds. Both Eli and Cason passed all of their milestones and Eli showed off his new climbing abilities by climbing the step stool! We also got confirmation that Eli is cutting all 4 of his molars. Poor baby! By the time we got home they were both sound asleep! Big sis was too!

The Big Serve 2017

Last Friday was The Big Serve. This year Cason helped clean up the yard of an elderly women who was blind and Emory did the landscaping at a new Habitat house.

Every year before the Big Serve each class decorates their classroom door with a message of serving.

The Kindergarten class is on top and 2nd grade on the bottom!

Emory's class worked very hard landscaping the yard of a new Habitat house. As you can see they started with tons of weeds!

After all the hard work the kids went back to school for cotton candy, bounce houses, and popsicle fun!

Birthday Party Time

Yesterday we celebrated Cason's 6th birthday and Eli's 1st birthday with a party.

As soon as we finished lunch Cason was ready to open presents!

Turning 6 means getting real tools. I foresee even more goodies being built by my hard working little man!

Cason decided on a Star Wars theme months ago and that was definitely the theme of the day. He got all kinds of great Star War things!!

The kids decided on a farm theme for Eli. We picked out this little set at Wal-Mart.

When you turn 1 you get a free smash cake with your purchase, so we decided to turn the smash cake into a pink pig!
