FBC Fall Fest

Tonight was Fall Fest at church and Eli went as a chicken farmer. He had lots of fun trunk or treating and playing tons of games with friends. 

 

3rd Grade Greek Day

Today was Greek Day in 3rd grade, Eli chose to dress as Poseidon. The festivites included a great feast and ancient Olympic games. He had lots of fun!

PWF 2024

The Pineywoods fair came to a close yesterday. We had 3 of 5 projects place, but due to their taking fewer projects this year, none of ours made the sale. All three kicked the fair off Wednesday with the broiler show. Emory and Cason both placed with their broilers, Emory 26th and Cason 27th out of 48 pens. Eli had fun holding chickens even though his did not place. Thursday Emory participated in the foral design contest and Cason in Ag Mech. Cason earned a first place ribbon for his project. I am not sure where Emory and Piper placed, but they were not in the top 5.  Then Friday Eli and Emory each showed their goats. Emory placed 17th with her goat. Saturday Emory and Cason each showed their heifers. Cason placed 2nd in his class and Emory was pulled in a very large senior showman class. Despite not making the sale this year, all three had a great time at the fair. 

 

 

Junior High Soccer

Last Thursday Cason finished his junior high soccer career at the JH district tournament, where the Regents Eagles walked away the champions! I am not sure if this was the first time our school has ever won district in JH soccer, but I know it is the first time in at least 10 years. To say these kids were excited is an understatment.

I didn't take many pictures this year, because most games Cason was playing goalie, but I did manage to take a few and borrow some as well.
