On the evening of June 11th Eli fell getting out of Bradley's truck and landed on his right arm, after a few tears and ice he seemed fine, but during the night he woke up in quite a bit of pain. So first thing the next morning I got him in to see his doctor and an X-Ray confirmed it was broken. Later that afternoon we met with ortho and found out he would need surgery.
He was not thrilled to find out he needed an x-ray.
A little watermelon after his ortho appointment broght a smile!
This is how he spent the days leading up to his surgery.
Day of surgery! He was very nervous, but did great despite the anesthesia making him really sick.
The cast and all his signatures!
Finally the day the cast came off!
He was being goofy because he was nervous about the saw that would be cutting the cast off.
He asked to bring his cast home because he wanted to hang it on his wall, however we compromised on a spot for it in his closet. He had to wear the camo splint for another week, but could take it off to shower!
