Christmas

Friday evening we celebrated Christmas at Bradley's parents house. Before dinner Rachel and I tried to take pictures of all three of the grand kids. Easier said then done!! I did manage to get one picture of all three kidos looking at the camera.
Emory (nearly 3), Cason 9 months, and Mckenzie (nearly 18 months)
I guess Cason did not get the memo! Mckenzie and Emory both have the same expression!
My two sweet peas!
Emory giving Cason loves!
Sweet Mckenzie and her box!
Cason checking out all his new stuff! He had a good time opening presents!
After opening presents it was time for the stocking scavenger hut. Mimi gave everyone clues in their Christmas cards to where their stocking gifts were hiding. Emory really liked the scavenger hut, I think we may need to have one at her birthday party!

We have had a wonderful Christmas this year!

9 Months

Cason Bradley you are 9 months old today!
You are wearing size 9 and 12 month clothes, a size 2 shoe, and a size 4 diaper. I am eager to see how much you have grown but will have to wait for a few weeks because Dr. Huggins combined your check-up with Emory's three year check-up on the 16th. You may out weigh your big sister this time!
You can say mama, dada, and baba.
You eat baby food three times a day and love your puffs and melts. You have also tried a few table foods (different kinds of peas and beans and Nilla Wafer cookies). You loved it all and are still a really good eater.
You are such a happy little boy and are always smiling. You have seven teeth with more on the way.
You love your new truck and have already figured out how to ride it and honk the horn!!
You walked for the first time pushing one of your toys on Monday and now you think you are a pro and want to walk everywhere!
You have also started to let go and try to stand all by yourself. You have only stood unassisted for a few seconds but you are very determined. You are a brave little boy! We love you very very much Cason!

Emory's New Wheels

After several days of some much needed rain the sun came out yesterday and Emory was able to test our her new wheels.

I think it is safe to say that she LOVES her new bike!!!

Christmas 2011

We hosted Christmas again this year and my parents, aunt, grandmother, Cameron, Blake, and Noah all came to our house. Bradley's parents went to Rachel's this year to be with her on her birthday (Happy Birthday Aunt Rachel). Rachel and Andrew are coming up later this week and we will have Christmas with them then. Emory had a blast playing with Noah. She follows him around like a little duckling. After lunch we all opened presents and visited.
Grandmaw and Pawpaw got Emory a wedding dress and wedding shoes which she loved.
Yes she is still in her pajamas and yes she is wearing a purple bow. This is what she wanted to wear. So much for the cute dress I had picked out for her to wear! Ha!

Later we tried to get a picture of the three grand kids all together. It was not to successful.
Noah James 9, Emory Grace 2, Cason Bradley 8 months

Alpie and two of the great grand kids. Cason was napping
Emory wanted Dora to take a picture with them too!
Sweet Cason!
Emory finally crashed on Pawpaw's lap.
Notice the two Dora band aids on her big toes. Emory learned the pain of running around in heels. She got a blister on one toe and an almost blister on the other from her wedding shoes. It was oh so dramatic.
This picture is out of order, but here is Cason helping me unwrap my present.

Emory and Cason both had a fantastic Christmas. They have been playing with all their new toys non stop. In addition to the highchair Emory also got the crib and carrier for her Bitty Baby, Sammie. I think she chose this name because Sam is the new baby at Ms. Betty's this year. I want to thank everyone for all the gifts and for coming and spending Christmas with us this year.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning Emory and Cason were both up by 7:00 am. Emory was very excited to see what Santa had brought her and to open her presents. Santa brought Emory a purple guitar, sidewalk chalk, highchair and accessories for her bitty baby, a match game, new socks, and quacking slippers that look like duck feet. She had a few goodies in her stocking as well. Santa brought Cason a new truck, a workbench, a race car, and a big monster truck he can push and ride. Cason had more goodies in his stocking too!
Emory checking all her new things out!

Cason loved his new workbench.
It did not take Emory long to notice the new big present under the Christmas tree. She asked what it was and when we told her it was hers she ran over to check it out.
She was SUPER EXCITED to see that it was the purple Dora bike she had been asking for and talking about for months! She jumped right on up and took off!
After riding her bike for a few minutes Emory helped Cason unwrap some of his presents.
Cason checking out his new bath tub basketball toy!
Emory also got a bicycle helmet and HAD to wear it.
Both kids had a blast opening presents. Emory was so happy and kept telling us "thank you thank you" all morning. It was so fun watching them! Bradley surprised me with a new Kindle Fire and some other goodies too. We had a great Christmas morning. After presents it was time to get ready and get things cooking as we were hosting Christmas again this year!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve after their baths Emory and Cason exchanged their gifts to each other. Emory picked out a blue "Dot" for Cason and was super excited to give it to him. Cason got Emory a purple mermaid Barbie doll which she loved.

It did not take Cason long to figure out how to open a present!
He loved his blue "Dot." We are going to have to come up with another name for his lovie though.
Emory and her "garmaid." She calls barbie dolls garbie dolls and started calling her mermaid barbie a garmaid. Such a smart cookie! (Somehow my pictures got all out of order.)
She went and got her piano stool out of her room to sit on to open her present.
She was so sweet afterwards and thanked Cason for her garmaid.
