Emory came home with this masterpiece today. She said it was a mad cat. What cracked me up was how she signed her name. Apparently it is now Emory G. Cobb!

Fall Fest 2014
Last night the kids went to Fall Fest at church. Emory has wavered on what she was going to be this year changing her mind several times over the past few weeks. She decided on a Forrest Fairy. Cason went has Jake. He has had his mind made up since Disney World.
My little Forrest Fairy and Jake!
Emory wanted me to take a picture of her pretty wings.
This picture cracks me up. Cason was all smiles and Miss Priss was giving attitude!
The photo booth at church!
The kids played tons of games, did crafts, and trick-or-treated! There was so much to do we never even made it to the bounce houses! They had a blast and came home with tons of goodies!
Emory shooting balloons!
Cason waiting on his turn.
She aimed and scored! She has quite the arm!
Cason fishing for treats!
Every fall fest needs a toilet paper toss!

Field Trip to Moore Pumpkin Patch
Last Wednesday Emory and I went with the Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade classes to Moore Pumpkin Patch in Bullard.
The kids pulling an old plow. They learned that the plow was over 100 years old.
They pulled so hard they all fell down!
They have different stations at the pumpkin patch. There is a corn mill area, an old water pump, and an area with animals. Emory working hard to pump water.

Emory Grace almost 6
Emory picked out two pumpkins, one of her and one for Cason.
My little pumpkin!
Emory drew the pumpkin patch Friday at school. She did a really good job! She even added the tractor which is on the road (in yellow). She also included the different stations and the barn where the kids learned about planting pumpkins.

Johnny Appleseed Day
September 26th Emory's class celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday. They enjoyed apple juice, sampled all different types of apples, tried apple pies and apple sauce. They also paraded through the school dressed like Johnny Appleseed singing the Johnny Appleseed song!

I borrowed this picture from the schools website so it is a little blurry but you can see from it that they all had fun!

Casonism's
Cason has been saying some funny things lately so I thought I better write them down before he moves onto something else and I forget.
Here lately before he does anything he says, "ready setty GO" and then takes off.
His favorite word is Awesome. He has been saying it for a few months now and everything is AWESOME!
When he gets mad at us or does not like what he is being told to do he says, "Naughty Momma" or "Naughty Daddy." He says it with authority too!
Another saying he uses all the time is, "Hey I got an idea!" He then usually tells us something he wants to do or eat.
Yesterday he was in the living room talking to Bradley when one of our wedding pictures got his attention. He looked at Bradley and said while pointing to the picture, "Mommy turned into a princess and Daddy you got clean!" He had us both laughing with that one.

Kindergarten First Quarter Report Card
Emory is doing great so far this school year. As I am typing this she is singing God Bless America. Mrs. Smith is teaching the kids patriotic songs this year, so far they have learned My Country 'Tis a Thee and God Bless America.
School & Art Work
Some of Emory's recent school work.
They learned about Christopher Columbus and Emory drew the Nina, Pinta & Santa Maria.
Her class is continuing to learn the states. I thought it was funny the way she underlined the information for Hawaii. I think she may have inherited my need to underline and highlight.
She drew an owl last week and a black cat this week in art class. She really seems to enjoy drawing and I think she is pretty good at it!
She is also into drawing castles. This one has a mote!

Pineywoods Fair 2014
The fair was this past week and the kids had a great time. Wednesday night we rode rides with Mckenzie and Lincoln, Thursday Emory participated in her first Pee Wee Showmanship, and Friday we rode more rides and helped Daddy take pictures of the Ag Mechanics Projects for the Douglass newsletter. Douglass got sweepstakes for the 2nd year in a row and won both the woodworking and lawn and garden divisions.
Lincoln riding the merry-go-round.
Cason, Mckenzie, Emory and her friend Raylee riding the car ride.
Emory and Cason riding the motorcycles
Emory and Mckenzie waiting on the train ride to start.
Emory riding the roller coaster, her FAVORITE ride. She rode 6 or 7 times.
Riding the motorcycle at night under the lights!
Emory before she showed the pig.
Showing her pig. She did a great job!!!
Emory "won" a trophy.
Riding the roller coaster again. She was super excited to sit in the front.
Cason did not want to ride rides on Friday. He wanted to check on the pigs instead.
Little Miss Fearless. She loved this. When she got off she said that was so AWESOME, I loved it!!
Surfing
Emory in the mirror maze. She said it was super tricky.
Cason checking out the chickens, I think or maybe ducks at the petty zoo. I can't remember or tell. He was telling me he did not want his picture taken.
