21 Months Old
Eli Grant you are 21 months old today!
You love books, tractors, animals, excavators, and firetrucks. You are very observant and have a great memory. There isn't much that doesn't get passed you.
You love your new slide and your big brother! I think you slid 200 times Christmas day alone!
You are still a great eater and love most foods, but your favorite is blueberries, with any type bean coming in second. Pork chops are high on your list too! Here you are enjoying a Christmas cookie, you liked those too!
You love being outside and on the go! You are constantly trying to keep up with Emory and Cason. You love light switches and think its funny to turn them on and off. You are an excellent climber and a pro at taking lids off of things, even those that are supposed to be baby proof!
You are still wearing 18 to 24 month clothes and a size 5 shoe. You love to wear belts and boots, even when they are your Bubba's! You are a little clown and love to make people laugh. Your big sister taught you to cackle and you think its hilarious and walk around cackling and laughing. You still do not sleep through the night but I know you will one day. You are an absolute joy and we love you very much.

Christmas at Mimi and Pawpaw's
This weekend we had Christmas at Mimi and Pawpaw's house.
Eli figured out what presents were all about and now is very eager to open more, as in the ones under the Christmas tree!
Cason loved the Lego's he got from Aunt Rachel. He has been a building machine.

New cowgirl clothes for Julie!
Eli and his new soccer ball. He did eventually open it!

While the older kids were riding Yeller, the youngest were taking the mule for a "drive!"
Gingerbread Houses
We worked on making a few gingerbread houses the past few days. The kids did really well on their creations.
Cason's tiny houses!
He did most of the work all by himself with just a little help on the assembly.
Emory's gingerbread houses!
She assembled and decorated them all by herself. She is super proud of them!
Our gingerbread village!
The kids also decided to make a lego gingerbread homestead, complete with garden, dog house and 4-wheeler!!

First Attempt at PJ Pictures
Last week we attempted to take Christmas pj pictures. There were lots of giggles and lots of wiggles and not one decent picture.
I should have used my camera and not my phone. Oh well they had fun laughing at Bradley who was making all sorts of silly faces.

Eli's First Christmas Parade
Last Saturday we went to the lighted Christmas parade downtown. It was Eli's first Christmas parade and he liked it up until the firetrucks left.
Cason really liked the Elvis float.

I was only able to take a few pictures this year. This train float was really cute!
One of the firetrucks. Eli loves firetrucks!!!
He was sad when they left and kept pointing and making his firetruck sound. He and I eventually finished the parade in the car because he got upset and was over the parade. I think he would have preferred only firetrucks.

Trip to the tree farm
Last Saturday we headed to the tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree!
Follow the leader!
This is the tree we picked. Emory fought hard for this one because she said it was the best.
Posing in front of the tree.
Watching Daddy cut it down.

We got it in and straight!
24 hours later....VIOLA, its all done!
