We kicked off the Nacogdoches County Steer Show Thursday with Emory and Tater winning Reserve Champion Senior Showman. We were super proud of her because this was her first time in the senior division since turning 14 in January and was one of if not the youngest.
The junior and senior showmanship winners!
The steer show was Friday morning with both Cason and Emory doing well. Cason and George II were Champion English steer and Emory and Tater were Reserve Champion Charolais steer. Cason placed 3rd overall and Emory 4th.
Momma messed up and handed Cooper Emory's 2nd place ribbon instead of Cason's first place!
I managed to get the ribbon right for the sale!
The buyers who purchased Cason's steer!
The cowboys!
Tater stepped on Emory's foot and she had to show with a hurt foot. She is one tough cookie!
