Birdhouse

Since it was raining again today I decided to let the kids paint their birdhouses. They both worked on them on and off all day and did an excellent job!

 She painted a worm on the back so the birds would remember what they like to eat!

She is always thinking!

Tomorrow we will put Emory's string through the top and then look for a spot in the yard to hang them up!

SFA Homecoming Bonfire

Last night we took the kids to the SFA homecoming bonfire. They were both super excited to go and had a great time!

 Emory got hot after the fire took off and got super big!

Cason got tired while we were there and they both were asleep before we got home. 

Fall Fest 2015

Last Wednesday was Fall Fest at church and this year Emory chose to go as Elsa and Cason Batman.

After the games the kids trick or treated on the first floor and then headed to gym to bounce in the bonce houses with Dad while I worked the GA/RA bake sale. They had a great time at Fall Fest this year! 

50th Day of School

Yesterday was the 50th day of school and the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes celebrated with a 50's sock hop!

 He has turned into quite the poser! He came up with his stances all by himself and had his teacher laughing at the many poses!

 After school Cason combed out all of the gel in his hair and turned into a Q-tip with all the fluff!!

The kids had a sock hop, hula hoop contest, coke floats and saw who could blow the biggest bubble with bubble gum! Cason said he had fun!!

Pumpkin Patch 2015

Despite the dreary weather and rain this weekend we managed to make it to the pumpkin patch and snap a few pictures in between showers. We also picked a few baby pumpkins to take home.

Emory's First Quarter Report

Emory brought home her first quarter report card for 1st grade last Friday. She continues to do well in school making all A's! The list of words she can read and spell continues to grow and she enjoys reading books.

Cason's First Report Card

Cason brought home his first report card last Friday and he is super proud of it. Mrs. V even made him his very own copy to keep!

 Cason has learned a lot during the first quarter and is always telling us about Bible stories and books he has learned about. He really seems to enjoy school and has made many new friends.

 I think he actually knows a few more letters then this as he was just writing an H yesterday but letters and words are starting to get his attention. He is also all about writing his name. The S or snake letter as he likes to call it is his favorite to write.

Field Trip to Moore Pumpkin Patch

Today Bradley and I took off from work and went with the kids on their field trip to the pumpkin patch in Bullard. Emory and Cason had a great time but it was hot and they got tired quickly!
