I had the kids pictures made the end of February and I am pleased with how they turned out considering Cason was very very sleepy. I wish they would have cooperated more when we attempted to get a picture of them together, but given their age I am happy with what I got. Below are a few several of my favorites.

Cinderella & The Prince
Emory has worn her Cinderella princess dress and "glass" shoes all weekend. I was a little worried she was going to want to wear it to church this morning but thankfully that was not a battle we had to endure this morning. She has napped in it, ate in it and played in it all weekend.
Before her nap this afternoon she posed like a princess and had me take her picture. The below pictures are her best princess poses.
My little prince is officially drinking milk. We ran out of formula this weekend so I decided to start Cason on milk a little early. He LOVES it! He has been drinking out of a sippy cup for a while now and usually just has a bottle when he wakes up and before bed. Cason has been walking up a storm this weekend. He walked from the couch to the french doors, which is about 10 feet in distance. He is going to be running before I know it!
This face cracks me up.
He was looking at me like will you stop taking my picture already momma!
He is really starting to look like a toddler and not a baby.
He also snatched someones glass shoes!!!

Azalea Trail 2012
This afternoon I took off early from work and Bradley and I took the kids to the Azalea Trail on the SFASU campus.
The trail is beautiful and is the perfect backdrop for spring pictures. That is if you can get your child/children to smile and look at you. Cason was tired because he did not get much of an afternoon nap, plus he is a people watcher and was more interested in watching all the people. Emory was not really in the mood for taking pictures this afternoon, but I did manage to get a few cute ones of them both.
Emory was being silly and kept doing her fake cheesy smile.
She of course found a balance beam and had to do her gymnastics walk.
She wanted to take her picture in front of this tree. She fought me on taking it in front of the flowers but insisted on the tree.
Right after I took this picture of Emory not looking at me, she pulled her dress over her head and flashed her purple and white plaid panties to the entire Azalea trail. We have no idea why but she thought it was hilarious and of course had to do it several times.
I had to include this one of my non lady like child!
We had a good afternoon at the Azalea Trail and treated ourselves to ice cream before coming home.

Jump Jump
My parents brought Emory a belated birthday present and Cason an almost birthday present when they came to visit Sunday. Unfortunately the weather kept us from getting to play with it then. So after dinner Bradly and I put their new trampoline together. Emory was super excited!
It was a hit for them both!
Cason liked it when Emory bounced him around and had a grand ole time playing with the zipper on the door. Emory jumped and jumped some more. The my first trampoline is the perfect size. It is low to the ground so Emory can climb up safely all by herself. Plus it is easy to move around. Thanks again Grandma and PawPaw!!!!
Wet Weekend Entertainment
This weekend was a very wet and dreary one with over 5 inches of rain falling Sunday alone. We managed to have fun even though we were cooped up inside most of the weekend.
Cason entertained Emory and I by playing Emory's piano and putting on a piano recital.
Emory pretended she was a pirate and wanted her picture taken. Arrgh matey!
Then she decided she needed to take a few pictures herself.
She took a picture of her boots.
The stairs
And the tent we built.
I think we may have a future photographer on our hands.
My parents came down Sunday afternoon and took us out to lunch for my birthday as well as entertained the kids. I think they wore them out!

Flowers, Steps, & Emory
Yesterday afternoon Emory picked me a very beautiful bouquet of flowers. She loves picking flowers and giving them to people.
Cason has some exciting news to share!
This morning he took several steps all by himself!! He did this several times and I was able to get a picture of him going from the coffee table to Bradley. He was quite proud of himself.
Emory put on a concert this morning. She loves to get her tutar (guitar) and sing and dance. When she is done she bows and says "thank you, thank you." She is such a mess. Her newest saying is, "hey, what's the big idea." She says this when Cason tries to take the toy she is playing with. I have no idea where she learned that one.
This afternoon we are going to take the kids to the carnival that is in town. Emory has been begging to go since she saw them setting up earlier this week. She wants to ride the blue horse on the merry-go-round.
