Monday we started our first full day at Walt Disney World with breakfast at Chef Mickey's, which is over at the Contemporary Resort.
Goofy got things moving and shaking with a dance around the restaurant. He had everyone swing their napkins in the air and sing and clap!
Cason LOVED it!
Then all the characters started making their way around.
Cason and Donald Duck.
This was as close as he would get to any of the characters.
Emory and Donald Duck
Emory with Minnie and Mickey Mouse
All of the characters were very personable and really took their time with the kids. Plus the food was great! I LOVE WDW Mickey Mouse waffles! Yum Yum!!
After breakfast we headed over to the Magic Kingdom for a full day of fun!
There is nothing like seeing Cinderella's Castle for the first time!
As soon as we got over to the Magic Kingdom Emory had an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the castle. She was SUPER excited!
She chose the Princess Sofia dress and then got her hair, nails and makeup done.
Getting all made up!
The final touch....tons and tons of GLITTER!
Emory loved it. She wore her dress the rest of the day!
While Emory was getting all made up, Cason, Bradley and Pawpaw were off riding rides. Then it was Cason's turn to get dressed up! He had an appointment over at the Pirates League.
Cason chose Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. He was super tired and a bit cranky at first, but once seated in my lap he was fine and did great with the makeup.
Arrgh Matey!
Cason received a sword and a gold medallion necklace.
My little Jake! Watch out for those eyebrows! While Cason was getting made over, Emory rode a ride with Grandma and Pawpaw. Then after a little lunch break it was time to ride more rides. We rode several rides including Its a Small World, which is one of my favorites.
Emory and Cason both enjoyed it!
That evening we headed over to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella. Cason fell asleep and missed out on meeting them, but they really aren't his thing anyway.
Princess Sofia and Princess Rapunzel
She loved meeting them.
Princess Sofia and Princess Cinderella
Both Emory and Cason loved their first trip to Magic Kingdom. They had a blast and were worn out by the time we got back to the hotel. Their Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Pawpaw were pretty tired too!
