4 Year Old Check-Up

Cason had his 4 year old check up this morning.

 He weighs 32.6 lbs (20th percentile) and is 39 1/4 inches tall (27th percentile). He gained about 2 pounds and 2 inches from last year. Hard to believe he was nearly 10lbs at birth and wearing 24 month clothes at a year!  I feel like he is in the middle of growth spurt because he has been eating a lot lately.

Cason passed his hearing test and told Dr. Huggins all about his green birthday cake. He answered all of his developmental questions correctly and calmly had his blood pressure checked. He had to get two shots today which he took like a champ and earned two blue camo band-aids, 3 Spider man stickers, and a sticky hand! He also enjoyed the cherry flavored "mouth stick" as he called it! 

Front Toothless Again

Emory's top front teeth have been loose for a few months now and last Saturday one of them finally came out.

 Then yesterday the other top front tooth fell out while Emory was bouncing in a bounce house. She accidentally bounced into her friend Servet and out came her tooth!

So now she is front toothless again!!

She has lost a total of 6 teeth!

Cowgirl Emory

Last Tuesday was Cowgirl/Cowboy day at school. Emory was excited because she got to take her (stick) horse to school. Mrs. Smith had a rope set up for the kids to tie up their horses so they would not run wild through the building!

Easter Pictures

I had visions of capturing a great picture of the kids all dressed up in their Easter clothes, but then it poured all day so no pretty outside pictures. When it was time to take pictures the kids had a major case of the sillies so this is what I got!

Emory was pretending to be a jack-a-lantern because she is missing her front tooth!

Easter 2015

 They felt the need to hunt Easter eggs with every basket they had.

Mimi and Pawpaw had hid eggs for the kids and after lunch they went to work finding all the eggs....and yes they used all those baskets to hunt with. 

Azalea Garden 2015

This morning the kids and I went to the Azalea Garden to take a few pictures. The flowers were in full bloom but it was chilly, windy, and full of people, which equates to just so-so pictures this year. I did get a couple of cute ones despite a certain little boy giving me just 4 smiles. That is all he said I was going to get when we left and that is all I got! Apparently when you are 4 you can just smile 4 times.

Third Quarter Report Card

Last Friday Emory brought home her report card.

 She is all about reading these days and continues to enjoy learning!
