Easter 2016

Easter Sunday we went to church and then to Mimi and Pawpaw's for lunch.

Andrew and Rachel came down for a visit and Mimi and Pawpaw had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids after lunch.

Azalea Garden 2016

After the house was struck by lightening on March 10th taking out our internet among other things and then the birth of Eli on March 31st I am finally back up and running and playing catch up for the month of March.

A few weeks ago I took the kids to the SFA Azalea Garden for our yearly spring pictures. I was able to get a few cute ones despite a little attitude from one little boy.

February Update

February is nearly over and I haven't posted once so I thought I would try and play catch up. Things have been very busy this month. Bradley celebrated his 38th birthday on the 12th and Emory made him this card.

 It tickled me so!  

 Cason takes around a hundred pictures/videos on my phone a week. He loves taking them. Some are actually in focus and others are a big blur. I found this selfie a week or so ago. He took it on the way to school.

 We got to meet Holland last week. Emory did a great job holding her and is going to be a huge help when Eli gets here.

7 Year Old Pictures

Saturday Emory and I fought the wind and attempted to take her 7 year old pictures since it was a nice warm sunny day. I think I was able to get a few cute ones!!

100th Day of Pre-K

Last Tuesday Pre-K celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as an old man or woman. Cason choose to go as an old farmer.

7 Years Old

Emory you turned 7 years old on Friday!

You were super excited and up bright an early! You celebrated at school with cupcakes with your friends and then with dinner at Jalapeño Tree that night!

 After school we headed to the doctor for your 7 year check-up.

You weighed 52lbs (58th percentile) and are 49 1/4 inches tall (73rd percentile). You did great during your check-up and got a great report!
 

 Yesterday we celebrated Alpie and Emory's birthday with a family BBQ

 Emory picked out the cake and candles. We decided that 98 single candles would be a bit much!

2nd Quarter Report Cards

Last Friday the kids brought home their report cards. Both Cason and Emory continue to do well in school and are soaking up everything they learn.

 We got tickled at what Mrs. Vermillion wrote under the comments section. His love for gathering firewood as gone to school apparently!

 Cason learned a lot during the second quarter. We are very proud of him!

 Emory continues to do well and made all A's again this quarter. She also tested as one of the top spellers in First grade and is a member of the first grade spelling bee team. They will be going to Lufkin in February to compete in the area Spelling Bee.
