Eli Grant

The First 3 weeks....

He is such a sweet baby boy!

2 week & 5 year Check-ups

Last Monday both Cason and Eli had their check-ups. Cason passed his hearing and vision test and was a super brave boy when he got his finger pricked for some routine blood work. After the nurse left the room a few several tears were shed but nothing a Sonic M & M Blast couldn't fix! Cason weighed 37 pounds (23rd percentile) and is 42 inches tall (31st percentile). He had gained 5 pounds and grew 3 inches since his 4 year check-up. Eli weighed 9.1 pounds (86th percentile) and was 21.25 inches tall (73rd percentile). Eli had gained a pound since his one week visit on 4/4/16 and has surpassed his birth weight of 8.8lbs. He does like to eat a lot!
Both Cason and Eli had a great check-up!

Eli & Dr. Glymph

I had my 2 week post-op appointment on the 14th and snapped a picture of Eli and Dr. Glymph who delivered both Eli and Cason. Eli slept through the whole thing!

3rd Quarter Report Cards

The kids brought their report cards home last month before Spring break. Both Cason and Emory continue to do well in school and soak up everything they are learning.

Happy Birthday Eli

Eli Grant Cobb was born March 31, 2016 at 7:28 in the morning. He weighed 8lbs 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. He has light brown hair and blue eyes and looks a lot like his big brother did.
We are all so in love with him and he is such a blessing to our family.
Emory and Cason meeting Eli for the first time.
Eli is such a sweet baby.
Emory picked out these lovely flowers and a cool balloon that played music.
Our hospital room smelled great with all the flowers! Aunt Cameron and Uncle Blake sent the ones above and Bradley's school the ones below.

All ready for the car ride home.

Happy 5th Birthday Cason

On March 28th Cason turned 5 years old!!
He got to stay home that day from school because the kids get the Monday after Easter off which happened to fall on his birthday this year!
Cason wanted to take hay bales to school on Tuesday to celebrate his birthday with his school friends. So we made rice crispy treat hay bales.
For dinner he chose to eat at the Bar-B-Q House restaurant and while there he decided that 5 year olds should eat their Cheetos with a fork.
After dinner we went to Mimi and Pawpaw's to open presents and eat cake.

Cason liked the icing a lot!!!
I am pretty sure he had a great birthday!!

Easter Eggs

The Saturday before Easter the kids and I dyed Easter eggs.
They created some very colorful eggs and had a great time!
