PWF Market Goal Show & Sale

The Pineywoods Fair was this week and Emory participated in her first market goat show! She did an excellent  job, Buttermilk on the other hand was little upset that Emory was interrupting  his nap time and didn't want to walk. Emory was in the 2nd class and placed 2nd. She ended up 5th overall and made the sale!!

The animal sale was last night. Emory sold 23 in the sale and Borders bought her goat. She was super excited.

After the goat sale Cason participated in Pee Wee Showmanship. He did a great job handling Buttermilk who was still refusing to walk. Cason can't wait to show a goat!!

18 Month Check-up

Eli had his 18 month check-up this morning. While waiting to be called back he enjoyed the magazines in the waiting room!

He weighed 26.4 pounds (78%) and is 33 inches tall (68%). He gained nearly a pound and grew an inch since his 15 month appointment in July. He was not in a good mood this morning and did not want to get examined at all. He pitched quite the fit. He got his flu shot today and a sticker which he was too mad to appreciate.

18 Months Old

Eli you are 18 months old!

You are wearing size 18 to 24 month clothes, a size 5 shoe and a size 5 diaper. You probably weigh around 27 to 28 pounds. You have a head full of curly blond hair and big blue eyes!

Your personality is a mixture of Emory's and Cason's. You are constantly on the move like Emory and love going places and you are a social butterfly like Cason and love to make others laugh. There are several ladies at Wal-Mart that you flirt with every time we are there. They even know you by name!

You are a pro at making a huge mess. You are into everything and anything all day long. You love emptying the cabinets and getting things out of the pantry.

The other day I went in to check on you while you were napping and found you holding both of your socks. You love wearing socks and boots and often pitch a fit if I try and take them off.

Three of your favorite things, a big cup, mommy shirt and doe doe. You sleep with a mommy shirt just like Cason now. You also love going outside and doing anything your brother and sister are doing.

You love books, Spot is still one of your favorites. We probably read it 50 times a day. Every time we get to this page with the stairs you have to point to our stairs. You are very observant and aware of everything going on.

First Tests of 1st Grade

Cason was super proud of his spelling and grammar tests! He has learned so much already in 1st grade!

Field Day

The second week of school the kids at their first field day. Cason is on the orange team this year and Emory the blue. The both had a blast. Little brother did too and wore himself out!

17 Months Old

Eli Grant you are 17 months old today!

You are a big boy! You are wearing 18 month clothes but cooler weather needs to hurry up and get here, as you are quickly outgrowing your summer clothes! You love to eat and aren't one to pass up a snack. You are still in a size 4 shoe and size 5 diaper.

You also LOVE to brush your teeth and usually have a toothbrush in your hand. You are currently working on your last 4 teeth and then your smile will be complete!

You love to play with your toys. Right now you love your tool belt, cars, trucks, and balls. You have also really started to like books. Your two favorites are Where's Spot and the book pictured below.

You also LOVE to drive anything with a steering wheel! You had a blast at Home Depot with Cason driving around the store.

Your vocabulary is increasing and you have added shoe, please, ball (all), and uh oh sort of! Your understanding has grown leaps and bounds but you get frustrated because your vocabulary isn't as far along. You can throw quite the tantrum too!
