2 Years Old

Eli Grant you are 2 years old! 

I can't believe you are already 2, seems like just yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital. You weigh 27.4lbs (58th percentile) and are 35 1/4 inches tall (71st percentile). You take after your big brother and are quite the little comedian. You love to laugh and make others laugh, you love books, diggers, being outside and hats. You still do not sleep through the night. You are a very light sleeper and once you are awake you want to sleep with me. You are a little snuggle bunny. You continue to talk up a storm and probably say "what's that" a thousands times a day. You are wearing 24 months/2t clothes, a size 5/6 shoe and size 6 diapers. You have really started showing an interest in using the potty chair, so I think we will be trying pull-ups next time. The other day at the soccer fields you through quite the fit because I would not let you use the porta potty like Bubba. You love your Bubba and Sissy and are usually one step behind them. Your Bubba calls you Little Dude and it is starting to stick! Happy Birthday Little Dude we love you! 

Happy 7th Birthday

Happy 7th Birthday Cason  Bradley! 

Cason, you are an absolute mess! You are silly beyond words and usually always smiling. You love being outside and working on different projects. You love to build things, draw, play soccer, Legos and have Nerf gun fights. You also have a very serious side and are very particular about certain things. Change is not your friend, you prefer a routine. You are eating like crazy these days. You love steak and requested a cake made out of steak next year for your birthday. You do well in school but love to talk. I was the same way when I was your age. I got in trouble for talking too! You are very outgoing and don't know a stranger. I can't believe you are 7, it seems like only yesterday you were born. All 9.65 pounds of you. You still hold the title of biggest baby in the family! 

FBC Easter Egg Hunt 2018

Sunday we went to our annual Easter egg hunt at church. Eli was excited to just carry his bucket just like Emory and Cason. He smiled all the way into church.

Cason (with a little help from Bradley) found a golden egg again this year! He was super excited and won a big chocolate cross. 

I wasn't able to get many pictures of Emory because she was off doing her own thing! 

After the egg hunt we went inside for snacks and crafts. Eli ate and ate while Emory and Cason did crafts. They all three had a great time! 

Steer Show 2018

Last Friday Emory showed Coconut in her first steer show. 

She placed 5th in her class of 10 and was 18th overall (43 steers in the show). She was nervous to show Coconut because he hasn't been feeling well due to a cyst in his mouth and hasn't been the best behaved. Emory did a great job in the ring despite it all.

The steer sale was Friday evening and Emory did a great job. She earned $1100.00 and was very happy! 

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Day

Last Thursday Emory's class had The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Day! They all dressed up like characters from the book and gave oral reports on their character. Emory was the White Witch. They had a delicious lunch of foods found in the story, including Turkish Delights, which Emory was not a fan of.

Azalea Garden 2018

Friday we went to the azalea garden to take a few pictures and walk around in the sunshine. The azalea's were not in full bloom yet but our next few weekends are jam packed with the steer show, soccer, birthdays and Easter, so we decided to go while we could.

 Eli threw a HUGE fit because I wouldn't let him break into the rappelling tower and climb the ladder. His little cheeks turn bright red when he is mad and hot, both of which he was during our walk!

23 Months Old

Eli Grant you are 23 months old! 

You love to climb, play outside, go for rides, and read books. You are wearing 24 months and 2t clothes and a size 5 shoe and diaper. Your favorite phrase right now is "what's that" and you say it hundreds of times a day. 

You love hats, boots and your toothbrush. You have to sleep with your Mommy shirt, just like Bubba and your Mickey Mouse. You still aren't a great sleeper and still wake up during the night. 

You have discovered Daddy's iPod and love to listen to music, you think you are big stuff with the ear buds in. You love to dance and sing! 

You are looking more and more like a big boy! I can't believe you are almost 2.
