Christmas Tree Farm

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we headed to the Christmas tree farm to pick our Christmas tree! 

We found this pretty 9 foot tree. It wasn't to wide or to crooked! 

Cason and Emory both took a turn at sawing. 

Of course we had to take a few silly pictures! 

Eli had a blast this year at the tree farm. He is all about working these days. He will tell you he is a working boy NOT a little boy! 

Family Photo Shoot

So we attempted pictures Saturday morning. It was little chilly and then Eli busted his lip but I think we still managed to get a few cute ones!

I am not a fan of any of our pictures this year, but between it being cold, having a 2 year old and using the self-timer on my camera, I guess they aren't to bad.

Fall Fest 2018

Last night was Fall Fest at church. Emory was a panda bear, Cason Hans Solo and Eli a cowboy. 

Eli had a blast this year! I think he finally understands what it is all about! 

The kids trick-or-treated, played games, bounced in the houses, had a nerf war, and rode a mechanical bull! 

They all 3 had a blast!

First Quarter Report Cards

Last Friday the kids brought home their report cards. They both did a great job!!

Pineywoods Fair 2018

Last week was the Pineywoods Fair, it was long, fun and tiresome. Emory and Snickerdoodle, AKA Doodle, competed in the goat show. Doodle was in the 3rd class and finished 7th. Unfortunately we didn't make the sale this year. Emory then participated in Junior Showmanship and won Grand Champion!! We are so proud of her! Before the judge announced Emory as the winner, he talked to the Senior Showmen and said he hoped they graduate soon, because a young lady in the Junior class may just kick their booty if they are still in the Senior Division in a few years!

Emory won a beautiful belt buckle and some cash, she is tickled pink! 

After Junior Showmanship Cason participated in the Peewee Showmanship and did a great job showing Doodle! Cason won a blue ribbon and $5.00!

We also rode lots of rides!

All in all we had a good fair this year!
