January & February Happening's

I realized this morning I had not recorded anything since the first of January, so here is a little of what we did in January and February. Emory turned 13th on the 15th, however 3 of the 5 of us had COVID including her, so there wasn't much celebrating. I didn't even take a picture of her, but I did put together this little collage of her.
The first of February Emory finished up her 7th grade basketball season with a tournament in Tyler. She played great his year and improved a great deal on both her skills and understanding of the game. She had a lot of fun too! Go Eagles!!

We also kept Miss Avery Kay for a week in February.
She liked sitting in this chair and looking outside.
She also liked Bradley's birthday cake.
Birthday cake is good!
You see her cup in that circle on her tray, I dare you to not put it in the circle!
SHE WILL NOT HAVE IT.
I went to Eli's Valentine party at school! He came home with all sorts of goodies in addition to the treats he had at the party.

Branded By Christ Coverall Classic

New Years Day we woke up bright and early, loaded Aggie, George and Tater and headed to the Branded by Christ Coverall Classic in Henderson. The kids all had fun playing with friends and the oldest two did well in the ring. Cason placed first in his class with George and Emory and Tater came in 4th in a very competitive class. Aggie did very good for her first show with us. Apparently, I did not get one picture of Eli, but he was there too!

The Flashlight Self

A few days after Christmas, Cason decided to build a shelf for his flashlight. He designed, built, painted and hung the shelf all by himself! He told me that you never know when you are going to wake up and need a flashlight.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we went to church and then came home and had dinner. The kids opened their presents to each other and then it was off to bed! I didn't get one picture of them opening their sibling gifts, but they all three shopped for each other and each put thought into their gifts!

Santa Land 2021

The Thursday before Christmas we headed to Santa Land. We were not sure how crowded it would be seeing as it was Christmas Eve Eve, but it wasn't bad at all when we arrived around 5:00. After about an hour wait we were off. They had several new scenes this year, but our new favorite was the farm scene followed by the new pirate ship! After Santa Land we had dinner at Chick-fil-a and then headed to Tyler for new tennis shoes for Emory and Eli at Sketchers.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning the boys were out of their room at 6'oclock on the dot, which was the earliest time we told them they could leave their room. They soon had everyone up and we all headed into the living room. We opened presents in three waves, had lunch, and then played games the rest of the day. We had wonderful Christmas!

Cason's new mouse trap!

Eli's new merch!!

Christmas night Eli tried out his new bathtub pillow, which he had been eagerly waiting on for weeks.
We got Emory this display case for her belt buckles. It looks really nice in her room.
