Eli started his summer off with a bang, a line drive to the face and trip to ER. Thankfully it was not broken.

The first week of June we had VBS at church.

Cason ran the Running of the Blueberries 5k and placed 2nd in his age group! 

Fourth of July we watched the fireworks in town!

We spent a lot of time at the pool!

We had a great summer, but I believe everyone is ready to go back to school!!

Red, White, & Moo

The first weekend in July we spent the day at the Red, White, & Moo show. Emory and Cason each showed their county steers, Jack and Johnny, who both did well for their first time in a ring. 

Johnny was not a fan of waking up early and took a nap just as soon as he was done! 

Emory showed Ellie for the first time too and they had a great show, winning Reserve Champion Shorthorn Heifer in both rings.

Houston Museum of Natural Science

 We spent our last day of vacation at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. We were able to see the Ramses The Great exhibit before it left the museum and it was great.   

The dinosaurs were a hit with Eli!
