Summer Vacation

The first of August we headed down to Jamaica Beach again this year for a couple of days. The water was pretty and the beach wasn't crowded.

We took the ferry across to Bolivar and came home that way. Eli was super nervous to ride the ferry, but once he was on it he loved it. 

 It was quick trip, but we had lots of fun at the beach!

A Little Snap of Summer

The War of Cobb took place in mine dining room this summer. Eli spent many hours playing with his army men.

We spent a few days at Cameron's. Miss Avery Kay letting us know she was out of food, empty bowl and all. 

The kids spent most of the time in the pool. We also went to the batting cages.

Stellar VBS 2023

The first week of June we all helped or attended VBS. This year's theme was Stellar and it was a big hit with Eli, who was in my class this year.

We had a great time learning about how to shine Jesus' light and raised a lot of money for Operation Christmas Child. 

I didn't get any pictures of Emory and Cason, but they each helped. Emory helped on the 3 year old class and Cason with the younger kids crafts. 

Last Day of School

The last day of school was a busy one.  We had the Academic awards, Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Crew Convocation for Emory, and the HS/JH Athletic Banquet that evening. Emory earned all A's and received the Grit Award in JH Soccer. Cason made the A/B honor roll and received the Hard Worker award from his teachers, and Eli earned All A's and one 89, (which is the way he told people) and the Helpful Award from his teacher. They all 3 had a great school year!

Cason class also received the complete Narnia book set, they begin reading the Narnia series in 2nd grade.

Her class received the Lord of the Rings book set as a gift. They will be moving up to high school next year!

Mommy & Eli Funnies

Someone was super needy when I got back from Washington D.C. I got lots of snuggles and lots of Eli time. We even took a bunch of silly pictures.
