Nacogdoches County Steer Show

We had a great time at the Nacogdoches County Steer Show. Cason was first in the ring, winning the lightweight Brahman/Brahman Cross, was 4th county bred and 11th overall steer. Emory and Tater were Champion Senior Showman, Chamption Charolais, and 3rd overall steer. Eli did great with his first steer and he and Bruce were 4th in AOB and 14th overall steer. Eli said his goal was to hang on tight and smile! He did both and had fun too!

BB District Honors

Last night the girls high school basketball team received district honors. Emory was happily surprised to receive 2nd team all district. We had five players earn 1st team all district and Clara received district MVP. 

 

Licensed To Drive

It took a month to get in to take the test, but we officially have a licensed driver! Watch out Nac here she comes! 

 

 

 

Medievil Feast

Medievil Feast was last Friday, for 4th, 8th & 11th grades. They feasted, sword fighted, and presented on things they have been learning.

High School Girls Basketball

Tuesday night Emory's sophomore basketball season came to an end in the second round of the playoffs. It was a hard loss, but the girls had such a wonderful season, going undefeated in district play, winning district, and getting to play at the SFA coliseum. I am super proud of these girls and have loved watching them play ball! 

 

50's Murder Mystery Party

Tonight was the high school and junior high murder mystery party. This year it was set in the 1950's.  Emory's character was a pink chic and Cason was on the football team.

At the Cross Classic

We took all three steers to the At the Cross Classic show in Jacksonville today. This was the first time the steers have been shown and Eli's first time in the ring with cattle. All three kids did great. Cason was 3rd in his class. Emory and Eli were in the same class and finished first and second. Emory went on to win Grand Champion steer.
