End of School Chaos & Fun

May was super busy and a bit chaotic, but loads of fun. RA recongnition service for Eli, U10 Soccer Awards, Eli was awarded Defensive Player of the Season, 3rd grade Narnia Day, Geometry Bridge Project, End of Year Dinner/Dance for Emory, JH Athletic Awards (Keeper of the Year for Cason), 3rd Grade Character Awards and Leaders of Tomorrow "LOT Crew" Convocation for Cason. 

 

JH Track

I managed to snap two pictures of JH track all season. Cason ran the 800, 400, 4X4 100 and threw shot put and discus. He improved on is distance and time this year in all.

Nacogdoches County Steer Show

We had a great time at the Nacogdoches County Steer Show. Cason was first in the ring, winning the lightweight Brahman/Brahman Cross, was 4th county bred and 11th overall steer. Emory and Tater were Champion Senior Showman, Chamption Charolais, and 3rd overall steer. Eli did great with his first steer and he and Bruce were 4th in AOB and 14th overall steer. Eli said his goal was to hang on tight and smile! He did both and had fun too!

BB District Honors

Last night the girls high school basketball team received district honors. Emory was happily surprised to receive 2nd team all district. We had five players earn 1st team all district and Clara received district MVP. 

 

Licensed To Drive

It took a month to get in to take the test, but we officially have a licensed driver! Watch out Nac here she comes!
