Bunny Ears 2013

Every year at Easter I take the kids pictures in the same pair of bunny ears to see how much they have grown and changed from the previous year!

Easter 2013

We have had a great Easter!
We started the day off with the kids checking out their Easter baskets. They both loved their gifts and have played with their new toys and enjoyed their candy today!
Emory and Cason checking everything out!
Emory got a new pink "diamond" horse shoe necklace! She loved it so much she wore it to church today along with her new sandals.
Cason checking out his goodies. Look Mom new socks!
He also got a new lawn mower that blows bubbles!
After presents and donuts it was time to get ready for church.
Emory actually gave me a smile after she was ready for church!
We had a great church service filled with beautiful songs and a great message. After church and Sunday school we headed to Mimi and Peepaw's for Easter lunch.
Cason Bradley (2) and Emory Grace (4)
After lunch it was time for the Easter egg hunt. We had to hunt eggs inside because it was storming outside, but the kids still had a blasts!
Cason ready for the hunt.
The hunt is on!
Emory had stickers in her Easter basket from Mimi and Peepaw and put them to use decorating her arm.

Road Trip

We headed south Thursday to visit the Contreras clan and Bradley and Cason got to meet Lincoln. It was a short visit but we had fun visiting, playing in the bluebonnets, and outside. Plus we picked up our new lawn mower.
Uncle Bradley and Lincoln
Lincoln will be 2 months old on Monday and has grown a lot since I saw him last.
Miss Mckenzie enjoying a chocolate donut!
Friday morning my two were fighting over the same toy and not sharing, so I took a picture to show Santa Claus.
Having fun playing outside!

Bluebonnets

We took the kids to a nearby bluebonnet patch today near Rachel and Andrew's to take a few pictures!
This picture just make me smile!
Cason and Mckenzie! I love this picture.
I captured an Emory giggle, crinkled nose and all!
Little Lincoln (8 weeks old)
My beautiful little niece. Love that smile!

2 Years Old

Cason Bradley you are 2 years old today!
You are a sweet little boy full of personality and charm! You love to laugh and give hugs & kisses. You have your moments when you are naughty and love to tell me NO, but you always give hugs and say you are sorry afterwards.
You are still wearing a size 18 months, size 6 shoe, and a size 5 diaper. You have a large vocabulary and have really started to use sentences. You are very inquisitive and always want to know where everyone is and what they are doing. Daily we go through your list which includes Sissy, Daddy, Mimi, Peepaw, Grandma, and Pawpaw. You are also a little stinker. Just last night you went and hid under Emory's bed because you did not want to go to bed. You thought it was hilarious!
You love Goldfish and usually have the Goldfish container in tow. You are not much of a cartoon watcher, but you are a fan of  Dora and Mickey Mouse. You love your tools, trucks, playing outside, and your sister. I can't believe you are already two years old. You have grown into a such caring little boy but you will always be my baby!
 Happy Birthday Buddy!
We love you!

Eggs Eggs Eggs

Today we dyed and hunted Easter eggs.
Emory and Cason had a blasts dying Easter eggs. Emory is an old pro and Cason a quick learner!
Cason did real well until he decided to use his egg as a hammer. He then had a grand ole time peeling it.
Some of our Easter eggs.
The kit we had came with stickers and sleeves, but the sleeves were too small for our eggs. Emory decided they made great tutu's though so two of our "girl" eggs are wearing tutu's.

This afternoon we went to an Easter egg hunt at our church. It was cold and extremely windy but the kids did not care.
Emory and Cason waiting patiently for the hunt to begin.
Look what I found Mom!
Cason did a great job hunting Easter eggs!
Emory did a great job too!
Emory checking out all the goodies in her eggs. After the Easter egg hunt we headed back inside for snacks.
Cason enjoyed snack time and all the yummy goodies in his eggs. He had a bag of Goldfish, 2 bags of fruit chews, and a cookie! While Cason ate Emory and I did the different crafts that were set up. Both kids had a great time!
