First Day of Pre-K & First Grade

Today was the first day of school!
 Cason Pre-K & Emory 1st Grade
All ready to go to school!
Cason wrote Pre-K all by himself!!
Cason and his John Deere lunch box and backpack.
His first school lunch included a half of turkey and ham sandwich, cheese cubes, cherry tomatoes, and chips!

My pretty first grader!
Cason brought this worksheet home today and two notes from his teacher. He had a great day and took a long nap. I am so glad he obeyed and had a cheerful attitude.
He also made this for us.
Emory had a great day too! She brought this worksheet home. She very quickly it appears drew a picture of the big kid playground which the first graders play on. This is a BIG deal!!!
I am so glad both Cason and Emory had a great first day of school!

New Teacher Welcome Cards

Last week Emory and Cason each received welcome cards from their teachers!
Cason insisted Bradley write "that makes me happy -Cason" on his card because he wanted to mail it back to his teacher and let her know the card made him happy. We finally agreed that he could tell his teacher Mrs. V that the card made him happy when he met her.

Splash Kingdom

Last week Splash Kingdom water park opened in town and Sunday afternoon we took the kids, minus Cason who said that he had too much work to do. He is all about working with his Daddy these days. For Nacogdoches Splash Kingdom is nice to have, it isn't real big but it kept the kids entertained and splashing.
Emory on one of the little kid water slides.
 My silly girl splashing!
Emory and Mckenzie liked the bucket. It dumped water every few minutes.
I did not get a picture, but Emory and I both liked the lazy river. We floated around and around just relaxing!
 Emory (6.5), Mckenzie (5), and Lincoln (2.5)
They all seemed to enjoy the water park and Emory is already planning our next trip.
