Saturday Emory and I fought the wind and attempted to take her 7 year old pictures since it was a nice warm sunny day. I think I was able to get a few cute ones!!

100th Day of Pre-K
Last Tuesday Pre-K celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as an old man or woman. Cason choose to go as an old farmer.

7 Years Old
Emory you turned 7 years old on Friday!
You were super excited and up bright an early! You celebrated at school with cupcakes with your friends and then with dinner at JalapeƱo Tree that night!
After school we headed to the doctor for your 7 year check-up.
Waiting for the doctor
Silly girl making silly faces.
You weighed 52lbs (58th percentile) and are 49 1/4 inches tall (73rd percentile). You did great during your check-up and got a great report!
Yesterday we celebrated Alpie and Emory's birthday with a family BBQ
Emory picked out the cake and candles. We decided that 98 single candles would be a bit much!

2nd Quarter Report Cards
Last Friday the kids brought home their report cards. Both Cason and Emory continue to do well in school and are soaking up everything they learn.
We got tickled at what Mrs. Vermillion wrote under the comments section. His love for gathering firewood as gone to school apparently!
Cason learned a lot during the second quarter. We are very proud of him!
Emory continues to do well and made all A's again this quarter. She also tested as one of the top spellers in First grade and is a member of the first grade spelling bee team. They will be going to Lufkin in February to compete in the area Spelling Bee.

Pie Face
Grandma and Pawpaw got Cason the Pie Face game for Christmas and it has been a huge hit with the kids. We have laughed and laughed while playing this game because you never know when the pie is going to hit!
Cason was the first to get hit by the pie!
He thought it was hilarious!!
We laughed and laughed because he got so tickled.
Emory was next!
She later got hit right on the nose, it was pretty funny. There is also a sponge that you can wet and use which is the way Bradley prefers to play. We have had a lot of fun playing this game. Thank you Grandma and Pawpaw!

Christmas 2015
Christmas Eve we went to the candle light service at church. After we got home Emory put out her reindeer food that one of her friends gave her. She sprinkled it all over the back yard for the reindeer.
Santa came and left Emory, Cason and Baby Cobb some great things!
Emory was awake bright (it was really still dark) and early and woke Cason up so they could see what Santa left them.
Playing with Emory's new soccer table.
Cason playing with his new crane. He picked up building materials (wrapping paper) and loaded it into his dump truck to take it to the dump (trash bag). He was a big help!
We gave Cason this workbench that Bradley made him for Christmas. He insisted on taking a picture with Bradley in front of the workbench, but then would only give silly poses. He LOVES his workbench and is already planning on what he is going to build. We also got both Emory and Cason toolboxes with real kid sized tools. If you are wondering why Bradley is wearing Ninja Turtle pants, Cason bought those for him!
We spent most of Christmas day playing with all our new toys and games. Then that afternoon we drove over to Lindale and went to Santa Land. Our December was so busy we hadn't had a chance to go yet. We got there about 4:45 and we were about 20th in line.
This is how Cason and Emory went through Santa Land this year!
They both love all the lights!
Here we go!
I only took a few pictures this year.
After Santa Land we drove over to Tyler to try and find something open so we could eat because everything in Lindale was closed. We were able to eat at Whataburger which the kids loved! We had a great relaxing Christmas this year and the kids have enjoyed playing with all their new games/toys!
Christmas Cookies
Christmas Eve we made Christmas cookies!
Both Emory and Cason did a great job rolling and cutting out their cookies.
Then after they cooled they went to work decorating the cookies.
Emory sampled a few sprinkles too!
A few of their masterpieces!
We had some very decorated and colorful cookies this year!
