3 Months Old

Eli Grant you are 3 months old!
You have really grown over the last month and wear 3-6 and 6 month clothes and a size 2 diaper. I feel like you weigh between 15 and 16 pounds.  You still enjoy eating and usually get up between 1 to 2 times a night, however I think you are going through a growth spurt because the last few nights you have woken up 3 to 4 times a night to eat.

Milestones you have accomplished this month include smiling and talking more, discovering your hands, and rolling over from tummy to back.
You still enjoy your bath and swing and love watching people, especially Emory and Cason. You also are a fan of the television. You are an easy going happy little guy as long as you are full!

Yesterday, 06/25/16, Eli rolled from his tummy to his back for the first time!
We were all pretty proud of him!

2 Month Check-up

Last Friday Eli had his 2 month check-up. He weighed 13.4 lbs (75 %) and is 23 1/4 inches long (62%). He cooed and smiled for Dr. Huggins and had a great check-up. He did have to get several shots though which he was not a fan of and spent the remainder of the day sleeping.

Emory, Cason and Eli all at 2 months old.

2 Months Old

Eli Grant you are 2 months old today!
You are wearing size 3 month and 3-6 months clothes and a size 2 diaper. You are a great eater and a big boy. I feel like you weigh between 13 and 14 pounds.  Your eyes are still blue and hair a light brown, although you have started to lose some of it on top.
You slept through the night for the first time last night, but usually wake up 1 to 2 times to eat. You love watching your big brother and sister and have started smiling more in the last couple of weeks. You are also talking more and love mimicking words and sounds.
You love taking baths and swinging in your swing. You are a very laid back and happy baby and have been such a joy! We love you very much!

End of Year Awards

Last Tuesday we attended the academic awards ceremony at Regents Academy. Cason received his Pre-K diploma and is very proud to be moving up to Kindergarten next year! Emory received a metal for earning all A's in first grade. She was very proud of her metal and we are proud of them both!
