Charlotte's Web Day

When Charlotte's Web Day falls on Show-N-Tell day, you get to dress like a farmer and bring your Stars Wars Lego set you built! Two of his favorite things in one day! 

Area Spelling Bee

On February 3rd Emory participated in the Area Spelling Bee at Lufkin High School. Her team made it to the semi-final round and ended up coming in 4th place out of 12 teams in the K-5th grade division. We are super proud of these three 3rd graders! 

Second Quarter Report Cards

The kids brought home their report cards the end of January. They both continue to well in school. Cason has been doing much much better with his talking and has had green days in conduct all of February so far! 

Disney World Day 5

Day 5 we headed to Animal Kingdom. 

We attempted a family picture but it was early in the morning and the sun was in everyone's eyes. 

This was one of Emory's favorite rides. She rode it several times!

After lunch we went on a safari and saw many animals. 

The giraffe's kept walking across the path so our truck had to wait for them to pass.

We watched the Lion King show again this time. I think it is one of my favorites shows at Disney World.

The River of Lights. This show was very creative and cool. They somehow projected pictures on the water spray and mist. It was hard to capture with a camera, but very pretty. 

If you look you can see a bird and I believe a turtle in the blue and a ship in the left hand corner of the yellow. 

On the way out of Animal Kingdom I snapped a picture in front of the big tree. The entire thing is made up of carvings of animals. 

22 Months Old

Eli Grant you are 22 months old!

You are an absolute mess! You are very curious and your favorite phrase right now is "what's that!" You still love firetrucks, loaders, bulldozers, and excavators but have added big trucks and buses into the mix. You love to read books. We probably read 50 books a day. Your favorites right now are your John Deere books and Little Blue Truck.

You have started going and getting a diaper and the wipes and then laying down when you need a diaper change. You are a smart little cookie! You are still wearing a size 5 diaper, size 5 and 6 shoes and size 24 months in clothes. Your favorite foods are pork chops, blueberries, and applesauce, but you enjoy many kinds! I can't' believe you are almost 2 years old! We love you Eli!

Disney World Day 4

Day four we headed back over to Magic Kingdom to ride a few rides before brunch at Chef Mickey's.

Eli wasn't to sure of the characters, so he used his knife as a shield.

This is as close as he would get to Donald and that's only because he was signing autographs like Donald.

When Donald tried to sneak in behind for a picture Eli made a run for it.

After Chef Mickey's we headed up to the room for a little Jedi fighting before heading to Disney Springs.

We checked out the Lego Store at Disney Springs and did a little birthday shopping for two kiddos.

After Disney Springs we went back to Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks show again!
