Concan Deer Lease Trip 2

The day after Christmas we headed west to the deer lease in Concan. The first day we just hiked around the lease, while out and about the boys thought it would be a good idea to take a dip at the swimming hole. They froze.

Eli decided he was freezing and ended up like this.
That evening Emory and Bradley went hunting while the boys and I hiked around and ended up having a camo hunting shoot.
He picked these poses all by himself!

A few pictures from our hike. The sun setting and tracks we came across.

After our photoshoot the boys were playing soccer out back and three deer came to visit. Cason thinks they came to investigate the turkey decoy. Bradley and Emory however saw zero deer while hunting.
We sat on the back porch and watched them for about 30 minutes.
More pics from the phototshoot!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning Eli was up before the rooster crowed and soon so was everybody else.
Blurry morning run of excitement!
When your teenage daughter feels the hot sauce you buy isn't hot enough, you get her 100 different samples of hot sauce packets for Christmas.

I didn't take one single picture after the morning excitement, but he had a wonderful BBQ lunch with family and great Christmas.

Christmas Eve

After church we came home and had dinner, took a few pictures in front of the Christmas tree and then thr kids opened their presents from each other. Sibling presents has become a tradition, every year the kids buy gifts for each other and then they open them Christmas eve after Bradely reads the Christmas story.

Emory got Eli his very own big chair to watch their soccer games in!
The boys gave Emory a hamburger ornament.
Emory picked out this knife set for Cason.
Cason gave Emory her very own tackle box and an assortment of lures, so she'd stop borrowing and losing his! She is the queen of catching trees!

Emory got Eli his very own machete, not sure how I feel about this one.

Anybody see Cason? He received a new guillie suit from Eli!

Our first ever artificial family room tree. The drought adn being late to get a real one equaled a fake tree this year. It looks so small!

We re-made a picture I took from 2017. They have grown so much!
We had a great Christmas eve celebrating Jesus's birth!

Christmas Eve Service

Christmas Eve we attended the Christmas Eve candlelight service, which is one of my favorite Christmas traditions.
