Ebay Pictures

This morning after breakfast I was taking a few pictures of clothes to list on Ebay when Emory decided she wanted to take her picture with her old clothes. Please excuse her bed head, but I thought her faces and expressions were too cute not to share.
Cason joined in on the fun too!
We would take a picture and then look at it and laugh! Emory got tickled at some of her faces. She is such a mess!

Astros, WAK, & Rock-N-Roll

I did not take one picture this weekend (gasp) but we were very busy and I just did not stop long enough to take a picture. Friday afternoon we headed to Houston and took the kids to their first Astros game. We figured it was a good time to go since the Astros are not doing so hot and the crowd attendance has been down. We had great seats in right field and the kids at a good time. Bradley caught a promotional "soft" baseball and then a real ball that the right fielder threw after warming up. The Astros even hit a home run so Emory got to see the train go. We made it to the 5th inning (9:00 pm) before leaving. We got home Saturday afternoon and just hung out around the house. Sunday morning it was church, Sunday school, and then naps. That evening Emory went to her first WAK (Worship Arts for Kids) which combines music (choir) and bible study at church. She is in the treble makers class which consists of 3 & 4 year olds. She said she had fun!  Since I did not take one picture of the kids this weekend I thought I would share Emory "rock-n-rolling" with the CMAs tonight! She loves to dance, sing, and play her guitar!

My Little Wranglers

Saturday we bought Cason his first pair of Wranglers and he loves them!
Trying on his new Wranglers!
He then decided to play a game of peek-a-boo with me!
All the peek-a-booing wore him out and he needed to take a break!
Emory also got a new "cowgirl" shirt. It is pink and has a horse on it. She loves it!
Here she is this afternoon giving me a big cheesy smile! This is the only way she would smile this afternoon. She was in a bit of a mood having not had a nap today.
She DID want to pose all sorts of different ways though!
My two little wranglers!
They love each other so!

Bookworm

Durning the past month Cason has really started showing an interest in books. He will bring me a book and then crawl up in my lap so I can read it to him. He also has started reading books by himself. This morning he dragged his chair over to the couch sat down and started reading a book.
Here is my other bookworm when she was around the same age as Cason!

Axe' em Jacks

This evening we took the kids to their first SFA football game. This was SFAs first game of the season and they were playing Southwestern Oklahoma.
Pre-game pictures.
Cason refused to take his thumb out of his mouth, so Emory thought it would be funny to join him and put hers in her mouth. They both thought this was funny!
The kids did real well at the game. Cason had a blast cheering with the crowd and clapping. He also thought everyone doing the axe em jack hand motion was pow powing, so he pow powed a lot! Emory did get a little concerned when the cannon fired for the first time after a touchdown but once Bradley explained it to her she was alright.  After an hour or so they wanted to run around so we headed over to the big grass hill and let them run around and play. We left a little before half-time because Cason was tired and ready for bed. SFA was up 28 to nothing when we left. Go Jacks!
Emory also wanted to take a picture with her Dora gymnastic ribbon. This is her SUPER BIG CHEESY smile!!

17 Months Old

Cason Bradley you are 17 months old today!
You are wearing size 12-18 month clothes and a size 5 shoe and diaper. Your favorite games are hide and seek and jumping off the coffee table. Thankfully you know not to jump unless someone is there to catch you. You are talking up a storm and seem to learn a new word weekly. You can say mama, dada, bye bye, hi, ball, uh oh, here, ba (cup), mmm, thank you, that, uh uh, mine, dog, quack, book, what's that, shoe, boot, I see that, outside and milk (sort of). You can now point to your nose, belly button, and ears when asked and think doing so is hilarious.
You are not eating as much as you used to. I am not sure if it because you have been teething or if you just finally slowed down. You are working on your 14th tooth with numbers 15 and 16 not far behind. You had your first taste of whip cream the other night. I am not sure if you liked eating it or putting it your hair more (picture above).
You have two pairs of boots and insists on wearing one of the pairs at all times. You absolutely love your boots! You also love to sing, dance, play outside, and turn the lights on/off. You are still an early riser, usually waking up between 6:00 am and 6:30 am and take an 1 1/2 to 2 hour afternoon nap.
You are such a happy little boy and are always smiling. You are also quite the comedian and love to make people laugh! You are very loving and will stop playing just to come give us hugs and kisses, which I adore! We love you very much Cason!
