Daddy's Little Helper

We are in the process of building a second garage to house ALL things non automobile, such as riding toys, 4-wheeler, riding lawn mower, etc. Cason has been helping Bradley and Peepaw work. He loves to carry the big boards around and work with the tools. He also refused to wear a shirt under his "work" overalls. He is such a mess just like somebody else I know!
As you can see he was working hard!

Emory's School Work

Now that Emory is in school she is bringing home 4 to 5 worksheets a day. The sentimental in me of course wants to keep them all, but as the worksheet stack increases I realize keeping everything is not going to work. So, I have decided to take pictures of some of her art work and worksheets and post them on the blog so I have something to remember them by. I will of course keep some things but this way I eliminate the huge stack!
She has brought home several Spanish worksheets all having to do with stripes.
She drew this pumpkin in art class.
This one is a chicken!
Last night we went to open house at Emory's school and she had made this book for us.
Emory of course had to add clothes to her person. She added a shirt and skirt.
Emory said she drew us sliding on a slide. I guess the brown line is the slide!
Emory did a great job on her book. I did not take pictures of it all but I plan on keeping this one since it has her sweet little hand prints and picture in it!

Princesses Birthday Party

Friday evening Emory went to her friend Emmy's birthday party. It was a Disney princesses themed party and Emory had a blast.
Emmy and Emory
Emmy's mom Kellie made this castle cake. As you can see she is very talented, not only was is beautiful (photo does not do it justice) it tasted great! The girls each had a princess place setting and the boys green frog! Emory of course chose Belle!
Emmy opening up presents!

Emory was so funny when she was signing Emmy's card. She wrote her name, decorated it, and then sealed it up all by herself! If you are wondering what Emory is wearing that would be a crown they got to decorate! She loves her crown and even wore it yesterday when we went to Chili's with Grandma and Pawpaw!

Round Up Sunday

Today was Round Up Sunday at church and Emory moved up to the Pre-K class. Cason is still in the 2 year old class but there are a couple of new helpers working in his class that he got to meet. Bradley and I worked the welcome desk in the children's building this morning so I got to see all the kids in their western duds! They were all so adorable and of course Ms. Melanie had everything decorated so cute! Plus all the toddlers got a cowboy hat so Cason was thrilled. His hat looks just like the one on the cow below and he wore it all morning! He loves a cowboy hat!
My two little buckaroos!
Miss Priss!
The picture quality is horrible, but it is the only one I could get with Cason smiling!

The Quirks of Cason

Bradley told me the other day that he thinks Cason is going to be a comedian when he grows up. He is definitely a hoot and he loves to make people laugh! He has this deep voice that he does that just cracks me up and his trade mark saying is "HELLO EVERYBODY!"
Other favorite sayings include ALL ABOARD and SUPERMAN! He will run full speed through the house yelling superman at the top of his lungs.
BIG CHEESE!
He has a kitty cat act that he does where he pretends to be a kitty cat. He has this little voice that he uses and he does his hands and arms like a sneaky cat. He thinks he is hysterical. He is such a mess!
Cason only knows two sizes, BIG and baby. Everything from hay bales to trucks to belly buttons to buses is either BIG or baby. For those of you wondering, a baby bus would be a van!  He also calls baseball/softball softy ball and likes watching it on TV. He loves to sing his BIBLE songs as he calls them, which mainly consists of Joy Joy Joy (Down in my Heart) and Yes Sir (I'm in the Lords Army).
He loves boots. He calls his John Deere boots his hay baling boots because he associates them with John Deere tractors and tractors bale hay of course. Cason also LOVES to watch You Tube videos which he calls Big Tractor Dump Truck movies. He watches tractors baling hay, dump trucks, log trucks being loaded, and skidders. He loves all things trucks and tractors. He also loves money and usually has a few coins in his hands or pockets.
Cason is silly and funny but just as equally sweet and kind. He has a big personality that I just love, plus he gives the best little boy hugs in the whole world!
