Field trip to the farm

Last Monday Cason's class took a field trip to our farm. They had been learning about farms in school and were excited to come out to the farm! They got to feed and ride Sally, play with the bunnies and check out the chickens. They also learned about gardens!

One Month Old

Eli you are one month old!
I can't believe a month has already come and gone since you were born.
I love yawning babies and your little yawn is just precious.
You are a very easy going baby as long as you are full and have a dry diaper. You are a great eater and usually eat every 2 to 3 hours.
You are wearing a size one diaper and 0-3 and 3 month clothes. You enjoy swinging in your swing and love watching your big sister and brother.
This picture makes me smile, I don't think you were a fan of the flash with this one. You are starting to sleep less during the day and usually wake up two to three times during the night to eat.
We are so blessed to have you as our son and we all love you very much!

Eli's First Bath

Eli's umbilical cord fell off April 13th so that night he had his first bath.
Eli enjoys baths and did great with his first one despite being hungry.
Emory and Cason of course helped!
All warm and cozy and ready for his pj's and his before bed snack!

First Grade Field Trip

Two weeks ago Eli and I went with Emory on her field trip to the Caddo Indian Mounds and Mission Tejas State Park.
The kids learning about the Caddo Indians.
Emory really liked this drum.
My silly girl!

The top picture is out of order, but this is her class (minus three) at Mission Tejas.
Emory and her friend Olivia making "music!" She was really getting into it as you can see!
Another shot at Mission Tejas. Emory had a fun time learning all about the Caddo Indians and how Mission Tejas came to be.

The Big Serve

On April 15th the kids participated in The Big Serve at school. Cason was super excited to go and work and had his clothes laid out the day before.
Cason's class served by working in the flower beds of an elderly couple and Emory's class sang and passed out refreshments they made at a nursing home. They also went to the Christian Woman's Job Corp and planted flowers and worked in  their flower beds.
Emory and Cason before school the day of The Big Serve.
Cason is giving me his "tough worker man" face!
After the students serve in the community they have a celebration back at the school with treats and bounce houses!
Cason enjoying a popsicle!
Mrs. Stanaland sent me some pictures of Emory and her friends working hard.
Emory did a great job planting flowers.

Cason wanted me to take his picture with his cotton candy. I have no idea why!
The kids worked hard and did a great job with their service projects.
