Memories

I wanted to document some memories from the last few weeks.

 Emory has been very interested in decorating for Christmas this year and my little helper! She helped me set out our Nativity set this year and did an excellent job.

Later that same day I noticed that she had added her little Nativity set from her bedroom to the table! 

One Saturday morning Cason decided to wear Emory's slippers.

Which led to Emory and Cason each wearing Emory's slippers, one of each kind, and dancing in front of the Christmas tree. Good times!

This picture made me laugh because after I took it I noticed that both of their pj bottoms were sagging.

One afternoon we were playing outside when Cason decided to "ride" the 4-wheeler. He climbed up all by himself, grabbed the handle bars and started driving.

Cason and Bradley were playing hide and seek one night before bed! It is easy to find Cason because he always gets the giggles!

Christmas Celebration

Rachel and Mckenzie came up Monday for a visit and to celebrate Christmas with us and Mimi and Peepaw! Tuesday we had a wonderful Christmas dinner and Wednesday evening we opened presents. The kids had a blast opening and playing with their gifts. I think it is safe to say that they are well loved!

He also got a cool truck and cattle trailer with two moo cows!

Who knew that cows could ride on top of a trailer? Cason that's who!

Mimi and Peepaw got Emory a new doll house with all the fixin's! She loves it! Doll houses have come a long way since I was little. This one has everything, including the kitchen sink! There is even a toilet! ha!

 When we got home the kids insisted on setting up Cason's new tent.

It was a hit! Thank you Mimi and Peepaw!

We have had a good time visiting with Rachel and Mckenzie this week and celebrating Christmas! 

Christmas Cowgirl

Tonight we went out to eat and then drove around and looked at Christmas lights. Emory insisted on being a cowgirl!

She wore her cowgirl shirt, boots, hat, and belt. She was decked out from head to toe!!

Christmas Tree Pictures

I have been taking attempting to take pictures of Emory and Cason in front of the Christmas tree since putting it up. For some reason Cason refuses to stand by himself in front of the Christmas tree. He is not afraid of it he just does not want to do it! Then there is Emory Grace.....

Santa Land 2012

Last night we made our annual trip to Santa Land. The trip did not go quite as planned due to Bradley coming down with a bad cold or the flu Friday night. He felt horrible but in the end did not want to disappoint the kids so I drove and he slept and away we went. We did have to cancel going to Chili's afterwards to eat but after PROMISING Emory we would take her when Daddy got better she was okay with not getting to go to Chili's. Have I mentioned that Emory LOVES Chili's.

We got there about 5:30 and the line was a little longer this year but nothing like the first year. We waited for about 45 minutes which was not too bad. The kids managed to have fun while waiting.

After three years of trying I was finally able to get a good picture of the entrance to Santa Land.

Once inside you are greeted by tons of dancing Christmas trees.

Then comes the tunnel of lights which is one of my favorite things in Santa Land.

This is what you see at the end of the tunnel. Thousands and thousands of lights!

Emory liked this little elf that swung over the road.

Elf Land Texas is one of the themed lands in Santa Land.

In Elf Land Texas you will find broncos, cowboys, and of course a Texas twister!

After Elf Land Texas is the area that tells the story of Jesus's birth, death, and  resurrection.

 This is probably my favorite scene in Santa Land. It is over a small lake and just beautiful. I wish my camera could capture it better. The figure beside the crosses is Jesus and he is carrying a cross.

 

Both Emory and Cason loved Santa Land and Daddy woke up and was able to enjoy it too. 

Meet Madison Marie

I have a new niece!

Miss Madison Marie Bisbey was born today! She weighed 7lbs 4 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long. These pictures are from Blake's phone and not the greatest but they will just have to do for now. Hopefully I can get up to Grapevine soon to take some pictures myself!

Madison looks a lot like Cameron did when she was a baby in this picture. So far we know that she does not like her diaper changed. She pitched quite the fit this afternoon when Cameron was changing her diaper. I think we may have another strong willed little girl in the family! I can't wait to meet and hold you Madison!

Christmas Parade

Saturday evening our Sunday school class had a mini cookout in the parking lot before the Christmas parade. After we ate we headed downtown to wait for the parade to start.

This float was pretty. They even had smoke coming out of the chimney.

This was Emory's favorite float because it shot out bubbles. 

Bubbles were everywhere after it went by us and it looked like it was snowing. Emory loved it!

 I can't remember whose float this was but they used A LOT of lights. It was really pretty.

And my sweet Cason. Don't let this picture fool you. He did not sit for long during the parade because he wanted to be in the parade. He spent most of the night telling Bradley "DOWN DOWN" and fussing. Emory had a great time watching the parade. She told me it was the best parade she has ever been too. I think she said the same thing last year too!
