Sunday evening during dinner Emory asked Bradley and I why Jesus did not paint her hands purple. Before we could respond she says, "God likes pink best......right?" He likes pink because He made her hands "pink" of course. I love how she is always thinking of something. Tonight I was ironing one of her shirts and she says, "I hope there is not a hole in my new shirt Momma." She then goes "There is a hole for my head though..... right?" Right Emory! We discovered a hole in one of her socks she was wearing before her bath and I guess she had holes on the brain! She is so funny. I need to start carrying a pen around with me so I can write down all the sweet, witty, and funny things she says.

The Yellow Chair
Cason loves sitting in the little chairs. He was so funny this afternoon while sitting in the yellow chair that I had to get the camera out. He sat, stood and got in trouble, knelt in it, laughed, got up and down about 100 times, and grinned from ear to ear! He was quite proud of himself!
After I took a picture of Cason in the yellow chair Emory wanted her picture taken in it too. She actually smiled pretty for the camera!
Then the silly came out and the show began!

New Wheels
The weekend of the crawfish boil Emory's little 4-wheeler had an unfortunate accident. We are not real sure when or how it happened but Emory was very upset when she discovered it was broken the next day.
This pink little number caught Emory's eye while we looking online for a new one. It is larger than her purple one so she will be able to ride it for a few years (if it last that long). Grandma and Paw Paw bought it for her and had it shipped to our Wal-Mart. Last night we put it together and then had to wait 18 LONG hours for it to charge.
Finally at 2:00 pm sharp it was ready and so was Emory. I think it was calling her name because she woke up from her nap literally at 1:59 pm. Ha!
She loves it and rode all afternoon!
Thank you again Grandma and Paw Paw!!!

Here Comes The Bride
This evening Emory and I were cuddling on the couch when an engagement ring commercial came on television. Here is the conversation that followed:
Emory- You have a married ring momma.
Me- Yes, Daddy gave it to me when we got married.
Emory- I wasn't born yet, right?
Me- No, you were not born yet. Mommy and Daddy had you after we got married.
Emory- I went to a wedding yesterday. (yesterday means anytime in the past)
Me- Yes, we went to Crystals wedding last year. Do you remember going and her pretty dress?
Emory- I have a pretty wedding dress.
Me- Yes you do.
Emory- I going to get married tomorrow. (tomorrow means anytime in the future)
Me- Yes, you can get married one day.
Emory- Somebody needs to get me a boy.
Oh my! I couldn't help but laugh because she was so serious. We discussed this further and Emory is now in agreement that she needs to grow up before she gets married. She agreed to wait until she is 7!

13 Months
Cason Bradley you are 13 months old today!
You are wearing size 12-18 month clothes, a size 3 shoe, and size 4 diaper. You can say dat (that), hi, hey, momma, dada, bye, tant you (thank you), ba (cup), and dog (sorta of). All four of your molars came in this month and you now have 12 teeth.
You are an excellent eater and love everything! When you get hungry you walk over to your highchair point up at it and say ugh! You now drink 100% from a cup and have not had a bottle in 3 weeks. You recently started to take only one afternoon nap, which is another sign you are growing up.
You LOVE your golf clubs and usually always have one in your hand or nearby. You are walking everywhere and into everything. You have also started to run!
Your new favorite thing is to sit at the table in the chairs. You are also quite the little comedian and crack yourself up all the time. You are so funny and have the cutest little laugh! You also love to sing which goes something like this, la la la la la la!
You are such a sweet little boy and we love you very very much!

Emory Grace
Emory has been keeping us on our toes lately. She's a little spit fire filled to the brim with sweetness, wit, and attitude. We never know what she is going to come up with next. Last night we had spaghetti for dinner and Emory asked for more pixie dust. It took me a minute to figure out that pixie dust was parmesan cheese. Thankfully she did not decide to fly during dinner!
Her new thing is to sit with her legs crossed. She looks so grown up when she sits like this. Her favorite saying is "you're the best ....." I must admit that I love it when she says "you're the best mom." She also says "oh that is so cute" all the time. She still says "oh nugget" when she messes up which cracks me up still.
She is strong willed as ever and at barely three all ready wants to pick out her clothes in the morning. We have had many a battle over clothes and hair styles. She is also a very sweet and caring little girl. She loves the outdoors, helping, and her brother.
I had to include this picture because she was giving me attitude while I was snapping it. Even with the attitude she is still my silly little goose and pumpkin all rolled into one!

Weekend Review
Our weekend kicked off Saturday morning with a crawfish boil. I did not feel all that great but did manage to take a few pictures. Emory and Cason had a good time playing train, which consisted of Emory riding her 4-wheeler and pushing Cason around on the tricycle.
I thought this picture was sweet.
Just excuse the big brownie stain on his shirt, which he LOVED!!

Cason "riding" the tricycle.
Everyone had a good time and the weather was perfect for a crawfish boil. By Saturday night I was feeling worse and ended going to bed and sleeping until 8:00 Sunday morning. That is late in our household because two little blue eyed kiddos I know are ALWAYS up by 6:30. We ended up missing church because I still was not feeling wonderful and Cason and I stayed in our pj's all day. Cason has started racing anything with wheels.
Here he is racing his car and train. It must have been a very important race because he was very serious!
Here is Emory being silly. She was being proper by covering her mouth while giggling. Not sure where she learned that one. She never ceases to amaze me with the things she comes up with.
One of these days I am going to say, "smile Emory" and she is going to give me the biggest non fake smile ever. That is what I keep telling myself anyways!
Until then.........
