The Pineywoods Fair

We went to the fair tonight and the kids had a blast! Bradley of course has been up there all week with his students but this was the kids and mine first night to go.
We started off visiting the exhibit booths and both kids got a balloon. Cason loved his balloon or ball as he called it and played with it all night. Next we headed to the petting zoo. Can you guess what Cason's favorite animal was??  The "ducks" of course and by "ducks" I mean chickens too!
Emory liked the goats, calf, and miniature horses.
Cason pointing at the ducks! He was not scared at all!
Emory petting the miniature horse! After the petting zoo it was time to ride!
Mckenzie and Emory really liked the cars. Cason was too short to ride and had to sit this one out. It was probably a little to fast for him anyway.
He got to ride the merry-go-round and loved it! He even cried when it was time to get off.
Cason riding the merry-go-round for the first time!
Emory still likes the merry-go-round too!!
We had a great time at the fair tonight and Emory is ready to go back tomorrow and ride some more rides!

Mommy Daughter Day

Yesterday Emory and I had a fun but wet mommy daughter day. Emory loves to shop so we headed to town for a little shopping. Our first stop was Hobby Lobby. Emory was cracking me up because she would find something and say "Oh Mommy, this is so stylish! I think we need to buy it." I have no idea where she learned stylish from. We had a good time looking at all the fall and Christmas decorations. Emory wanted a nativity set for her room but after some persuasion she settled on nativity window stickers. I guess I need to get her a nativity set for kids. She also picked out this Rudolph nose that lights up!
After Hobby Lobby we headed over to Carrington's to get Emory a pair of black dress shoes. We also picked up a little something for baby Madison. Before heading home we made a pit stop at McDonald's for a french fry treat for Emory! We had a good time shopping and laughing!

I had to include this picture of Emory from last weekend. She was so excited because she realized she was taller then the door knob. She even had me take her picture standing by her door knob.
She kept telling me she was getting super tall!

18 Months Old

Cason Bradley you are 18 months old today!
You weigh 25.1 lbs (60th percentile) and are 33 inches tall (70th percentile). You are wearing size 12-18 month clothes and a size 5 shoe and diaper. You seem to learn a new word weekly and your vocabulary continues to grow. This month you have added no, jump, stuck, down, night night, moo, boo, and Jessie (from Ms. Betty's).
You are an absolute hoot and a real charmer! You love to smile and laugh. Your favorite "games" are still jumping off the coffee table and playing boo. You also recently discovered the Lego blocks and have enjoyed building towers this week.
You adore Emory and for the most part y'all play well together, however when there is a disagreement you have definitely learned to stand your ground. You love to dance with your sister like in the above picture and are typically two steps behind her at all times!
You are also strong willed, maybe even more so then your sister, and do not like to not get your way. You can throw quite the temper tantrum and have even started telling us "NO."
I can't believe you will be 2 in just six short months. You are an absolute delight and we love you very much Cason!

Raspberry Kisses

Tonight Emory took a few pictures of me loving on Cason. Please excuse my puffy cheeks but I was giving Cason raspberry kisses!
Emory did a good job taking our pictures!

Ebay Pictures

This morning after breakfast I was taking a few pictures of clothes to list on Ebay when Emory decided she wanted to take her picture with her old clothes. Please excuse her bed head, but I thought her faces and expressions were too cute not to share.
Cason joined in on the fun too!
We would take a picture and then look at it and laugh! Emory got tickled at some of her faces. She is such a mess!

Astros, WAK, & Rock-N-Roll

I did not take one picture this weekend (gasp) but we were very busy and I just did not stop long enough to take a picture. Friday afternoon we headed to Houston and took the kids to their first Astros game. We figured it was a good time to go since the Astros are not doing so hot and the crowd attendance has been down. We had great seats in right field and the kids at a good time. Bradley caught a promotional "soft" baseball and then a real ball that the right fielder threw after warming up. The Astros even hit a home run so Emory got to see the train go. We made it to the 5th inning (9:00 pm) before leaving. We got home Saturday afternoon and just hung out around the house. Sunday morning it was church, Sunday school, and then naps. That evening Emory went to her first WAK (Worship Arts for Kids) which combines music (choir) and bible study at church. She is in the treble makers class which consists of 3 & 4 year olds. She said she had fun!  Since I did not take one picture of the kids this weekend I thought I would share Emory "rock-n-rolling" with the CMAs tonight! She loves to dance, sing, and play her guitar!
