Mickey Mouse Birthday Bash

Today we celebrated Cason's 2nd birthday with a Mickey Mouse birthday party.
Pawpaw and all the grand kids pre-birthday party!
This was the first take. It made me laugh because Pawpaw was the only one looking at the camera.
We started the day off with donuts, kolaches, and birthday horns!
Later Mimi and Peepaw joined us for hot diggity dogs and mac & cheese!
Cason's birthday cake!
After lunch Cason opened his presents and of course Emory oversaw things.
Shovels!
He got two because Aunt Cameron and Grandma thought alike and each got him one.
Giddy Up!
A cool guitar!
Cason got many great things, including books, toys, and clothes. He was a happy boy!
Then it was time for cake and as you can see he dug right in!
Cason loved his cake!
It was mmm mmm good!

Cason had a great time at his party today!

Sunday Afternoon

Sunday after church and their naps the kids washed the truck.....
played a little baseball.....
(Emory can hit the ball hard and far. See the ball hovering over the coffee table, it's on its way into her bedroom!)
Then just hung out and relaxed. They also made quite the mess but they had a blast!

Azalea Garden 2013

This morning Mimi and I took the kids to the SFA Azalea Garden to try and get a few cute spring pictures. Emory and I battled over what she would wear, only to discover the dress I had picked out for her was a little too big, so in the end she won and wore the only non-spring like dress she owns. I wish I knew why she loves this blue dress so much. The azalea's were not all in bloom but this was the only weekend we could go. We were able to find some pretty flowers and even captured a few smiles!
I even managed to get a picture of both of them sorta looking at the camera and sorta smiling at the same time...I'll take it!
Cason Bradley (almost 2) & Emory Grace (4)
A dog in a tutu caught their attention and this is there what in the world face!
This pretty much sums up Cason at the Azalea Garden! He was everywhere.
Emory conquered the rocks!

Happy Birthday To Me

On Monday I celebrated my 33rd birthday. We celebrated at home because Emory Grace is still not at 100% but plan to go out later this week. When I got home from work I was greeted with a big Happy Birthday Mama from Cason. He says it so cute too!
Emory wrote a H and E on my card from her and Cason. I asked her why she put an H and not an M for Mama, and she said because your name is Hannah silly! Well I guess she has a point.
I am not a fan of cake so Bradley decorated a cookie for me. Emory helped blow out the candle and Cason helped eat ate the cookie.
I got a beautiful necklace that I have been wanting! Plus it came with a coupon so I think I will be adding a heart stamped charm to it!
I had a great birthday with three of my favorite people!

Random Pictures

Thought I would share a few random pictures from the past week.
Emory "fixed" her hair after her nap and wanted to take a picture. She of course gave me her signature pose!
Cason helping Bradley with the office remodel. He loves tools!
Cason got into the grapes before we could get the groceries put up. He loves grapes!
Emory felt a little better yesterday and did a little coloring.
My little goof ball!
 Giving me "the eyes!"
Emory is still not 100% but she is doing a lot better!
Cason doing a little light reading!
I love that sweet smile!
Doing a little pouting because he did not get his way.
He decided he did not like the kitchen where it was and relocated it.

Our Little Patient

Emory had surgery this morning to remove her tonsils and adenoids. We had to be there at 6:45 and she went back a little before 8:00. She was a very brave little girl and did fantastic!
Emory thought her hospital gown was silly because it tied in the back. Here she is before her surgery and before the "loopy" medicine kicked in. Once it kicked in she was hilarious and had everyone laughing, including the nurses and anesthesiologist. Bradley's dad had been there for about 10 minutes and was coloring with Emory when she goes "Peepaw how'd you get back there?" Then she looks up and asks us if her tonsils were out yet. She forgot her numbers for a minute but then remembered them and decided to sing a song about them. She was in rare form and out of it! Her surgery was about 40 minutes and went very well with very little bleeding. She was pretty upset when she came out from under the anesthesia but after a little pain medicine she fell back asleep and woke up feeling much better.
Once we were home Mimi came over and surprised her with a balloon bouquet and doctor bear. She was able to eat and drink a little something and has enjoyed her "bell," (one of her metal pots and a wooden spoon), which she is using to call us. She might be enjoying it a little too much!
I am so glad that is over and thankful she did great throughout the entire procedure. Hopefully her recovery will continue to go smoothly and she will be feeling like herself again soon!
Get well Emory!
