Emory turned 17 months old yesterday, June 15, 2010, which I find hard to believe. It seems like only yesterday she was learning to crawl. Here is what she has been up to!
-She is still wearing size 12 month clothes, a size 4 shoe, and size 3 diaper.
-She is using a fork and spoon to eat with and is actually able to get food in her mouth when using them!
-She loves to read, play outside, and get her way!
-She has learned the art of pitching a fit, and throws them whenever she does not get her way.
-She wants to do everything by herself and her new favorite word is MINE!
-She gives the best hugs, my favorite is the arms outstretched running full speed at you hug.
-She loves to go shopping and explore new things.
-She is getting better at brushing her teeth, but still prefers to just suck all the toothpaste off.
-She is saying thank you more and more without prompting and is working on please.
Emory put on her pj's all by herself. Even though she put the shirt on wrong, it was a proud moment nonetheless!
She also insists on putting on her shoes! 
This is what Emory shoe looks like when she "puts it on." Then she gets mad when it falls off!
